HOW IT WORKS

Our Garments

Construction

Our 100% wool suits come standard with full canvas (no fusing), which maximizes durability and optimizes the feel, fit and form. Our shirts come standard with thick mother of pearl shell buttons and 25-30 stitches per inch for strength and durability. To learn more, please contact us or schedule an appointment.

Fabrics

To construct our garments, we source the highest quality fabrics from some of the most prominent, luxurious mills in the world – Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dormeuil, Thomas Mason and Ariston, to name a few. We also offer less popularized, boutique brands from smaller mills that deliver an exceptional value at a lower price point.

Frequently Asked

What are your prices?

Pricing depends on the fabric and construction you choose—but here’s a general idea (so we don’t keep you guessing):

  • Suits start at $1,200 (most clients spend between $1,800–$2,700, though we do offer options that go well above $6,000 if you’re feeling bold).
  • Shirts start at $225 (a sweet spot for most is $275–$375, but yes—we’ve made $1,000+ shirts for those who like to go all in).
  • Blazers start at $1,000 (most fall in the $1,250–$2,500 range, but we can go up to $5,000+ if you’re dressing to impress… or to inherit).

We’ll walk you through everything during your appointment—no pressure, no surprises, just great options.

What’s the custom process like?

It’s more relaxed than you think. We start with a conversation—your stylist gets to know your lifestyle, preferences, and what actually works for your body and lifestyle. From there, we take 26+ measurements, help you design your piece, and guide you through the fabric books. About 6 weeks later, your custom garment arrives, and we fine-tune the fit. Easy, tailored, and built around you.

Do I have to pay everything upfront?

Yes, but it’s for a good reason—once you place your order, we get to work right away. For first-time clients or orders over $10,000, we will allow a 50% deposit, with the rest due before any fittings, shipping, or pickups.

What’s your refund or cancellation policy?

Custom garments are final sale after 24 hours. If you need to cancel within that window, we can process a refund minus a 3.5% processing fee. After 24 hours, we’ve already ordered your fabric and started production—so at that point, it’s yours.

Do you sell wedding tuxedos or garments?

Yes, one of our favorites things to make are wedding garments! We make it an extra special experience for the groom and entire wedding party. For more information click here.

Do you sell women’s custom clothing?

Yes, we do sell women’s custom suiting, knits, denim and much more. For more information go to our womens page.

What happens if I forget to pick up my order?

We know life gets busy, but we ask that all garments be picked up or shipped within 60 days. After that, we reserve the right to charge any remaining balance to your card on file. If we can’t collect payment within 120 days, the order may be sent to collections. (Let’s not go there.)

What’s included in alterations?

Every custom order comes with complimentary alterations for 90 days. If a garment can’t be altered to fit properly, which rarely happens, we’ll remake it at no charge to you. That said, we can’t cover changes in size that happen after delivery. Ready-to-wear? We’ll hem trousers—anything else is on you.

Can I return or exchange something?

For custom? No. Once we start building it for you, it’s yours. Ready-to-wear pieces are able to be exchanged for a different size, but final sale unless noted otherwise.

Can I use my own tailor?

Yes—with a few conditions. We offer a $75 tailoring credit if you get pre-approval and send us a detailed receipt. But please know: if something goes sideways, LABEL can’t be responsible for third-party alterations.

How long does it take to get my order?

Most custom orders take about 6 weeks. We try our best to stay on time, but delays can happen (fabric backorders, production schedules, etc.). While we don’t offer refunds for delays, we always keep you in the loop.

What if something isn’t right?

Let us know within 7 days of receiving your garment. Your stylist will take it from there.

How should I care for my clothing?

Treat it well, and it’ll return the favor. Dry clean when needed, store it properly, spotclean and avoid overly aggressive cleaners. LABEL isn’t responsible for damage caused by improper care, wear and tear, or rogue dry cleaners. For more information go to our garment care guide here.

Do you sell gift cards?

We do! Gift cards are valid for 5 years and can be used toward anything custom. They’re not refundable, redeemable for cash, or replaceable if lost—so treat them like you would your Amex.

What if I need help with my order?

Start with your stylist—they’re your best resource. Still stuck? Reach out to us at info@label.co or 212-220-3689. We’ve got you.
